February month may well go down as the busiest month for the SASHA shop! With a host of activities inside and outside the premises, there has been a great deal of buzz generated around our upcycled and recycled products. We also give you an update on the equally busy Delhi market: that being the time when tourist season peaks. Our other activities also included engagements with other Fair Trade organizations.
Workshop in Delhi and Kolkata
February month saw two back to back workshops under the Fair Support Project. The chief resource person for the workshops was Mr. Ram Bhatt. He took the participants through a session on Internal Monitoring System: Developing & managing the same. Social, Legal, Environment Compliances for Fair Trade Organizations, Inputs on developing Policies were some other topics of elaborate discussions. Participants at Delhi and Kolkata benefitted from the tools and resources available.
The workshop aimed at bringing out the business benefits and desirable policies that are associated with the world of Fair Trade.
